.2011 Vermilion Food Bank Raffle:

Retired Cleveland Police Officer Wins Scooter!

30 year veteran and retired Cleveland Police Officer Bob Zak purchased a raffle ticket to support the Vermilion Food Pantry.  On our last day of ticket sales,Diane Chesnut,manager of the Friends of Harbourtown,pulled the winning ticket with Bob’s name on it. Bob was given his choice of a moped or a scooter for his prize,and he picked the 150cc scooter!

We had a chat with Bob when he picked up his new scooter and he told us he always supports local community service raffles. He said that he so strongly believes in our efforts to support our local foodbank,that he wanted to make a cash donation as well so Bob also contributed another $20 for the Vermilion Food Pantry! Way to go Bob!

JIM ROTH of VERMILION OHIO chose the Red Moped in the box you saw on the trailer! So I built his new moped for him and he took delivery of it today!

The winner was picked by an independent employee of Jamie’s Flea Market(Thanks!) and was witnessed by two other individuals!
